We ran out of propane unexpectedly on a Friday evening and got in touch with Jesse from Bubbas around 6pm. We weren’t currently customers and yet Jesse turned around and drove back to the shop and then drove another hour and a half to get to our home so we didn’t have to go all weekend without hot water and propane. That’s A++++++++ customer service!!! We are so grateful for Jesse for going above and beyond and are going to be permanent customers from here on out. We now have a monitor to alert if we ever get low again. Highly recommend!

About Bubba
Bubba grew up around the propane business, often visiting family members who owned and operated a propane company. After graduating from high school, he went to work for them and began learning the industry firsthand. When the family eventually sold the company, Bubba decided to take a leap of faith and start his own.
What began in the spare bedroom of his house, with nothing more than his pickup truck, a 10-year-old bobtail, a desk, and a typewriter has grown into the Bubbas Got Gas of today: one of Central Texas’ most respected propane companies.
In the early days, Bubba handled nearly every part of the business himself. He spent his days delivering propane and performing service work, then drove a six-hour round trip between San Marcos and Three Rivers to refill his truck. Many of those long drives were made in freezing weather with no heater in the old delivery truck. After only a few hours of sleep, he would wake up and do it all over again.
From the very beginning, Bubba was committed to making sure every customer was taken care of and happy with the service they received, a work ethic and mindset he still believes in today.
Bubba credits his success to a combination of his upbringing, a never-give-up attitude, thoughtful decision-making, and a little bit of luck.
